AfriSportPro Youth League Partners with Nigeria Police Force to Promote Youth Safety and Crime Prevention

Aug 26, 2026

The AfriSportPro Youth League is strengthening its commitment to youth development through a proposed collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) through the Police Campaign Against Cultism And Other Vices (POCACOV)

The partnership is aimed at using the league’s growing national platform to reach young players, fans, supporters and communities with targeted youth sensitisation and public safety education.

Through the collaboration, AfriSportPro and the Nigeria Police Force will explore activities focused on:

🔹 Crime prevention
🔹 Anti-cultism awareness
🔹 Cybercrime
🔹 Community policing
🔹 Violence prevention
🔹 Drug abuse and other social vices
🔹 Responsible citizenship

With the AfriSportPro Youth League currently expanding across multiple Nigerian states, the partnership provides an opportunity to take these messages directly to young people within their communities and through an environment they already engage with—football.

AfriSportPro is not just a football league. It is also a platform for youth engagement, education, community development and national unity. By combining football with meaningful social education, the League seeks to help young Nigerians make informed choices, develop positive aspirations and become productive members of their communities.

The collaboration is expected to be rolled out across all participating AfriSportPro states, creating a broader platform for sustained Police–youth engagement and community-based sensitisation.

Football brings the youth together. Together, we can use it to build safer and stronger communities. 🇳🇬⚽
